The actor addressed his Instagram followers soon after his rotator cuff surgery to relay that his physician told him things went “really well” and to thank those concerned for their messages and support. “It means the world to me. It seems like my biggest issue right now is fighting with my wife about not jumping back into work right now and getting things done…
“They gave me a nerve blocker. We’ll see what a tough guy I am once that wears off. Honestly, right now, I feel really good…It just means the world to me that everyone has been so kind and so supportive. Thanks a lot!”

It is unclear at this time whether Kanan’s surgery will necessitate an absence from the canvas, the inclusion of a similar injury for Deacon, or indeed if it will have any impact whatsoever on the soap’s filming schedule.
