* Kellie Bright’s Linda Carter will reappear in EastEnders on Thursday, February 13, following a lengthy hiatus. In story, after an It’s A Wonderfull Life-esque fantasy in which she learned how friends and family would fare if she continued down her self-destructive path, alcoholic Linda checked herself into rehab. (DigitalSpy was the first to report.)
* Paul Foreman’s battle with Motor Neurone Disease and death from pulmonary emboli, a complication of MND, netted Coronation Street the Broadcast Awards’ Best Soap/Continuing Drama trophy.
* Former soap hopper turned Newheart darling Julia Duffy (ex-Penny Davis, The Doctors; ex-Karen Wolek, One Life to Live; ex-Geri Braylee, Love of Life) has joined the ensemble of the Keke Palmer starrer The Burbs.
In the thriller series (based on Joe Dante’s same-titled 1989 dark comedy feature ), Palmer and Jack Whitehall are a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.
* Nathan Owens (Holden, The Young and the Restless) will join Michael Fairman for conversation on Friday, February 7, at 1PM EST / 10AM PST.
That same day, at 6PM EST / 3PM PST, Fairman will interview Y&R stalwart Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), one day ahead of the actor’s official 45th anniversary with the CBS sudser.

* The Paley Center will present a special screening of the first episode of Beyond The Gates following a panel featuring stars Tamara Tunie, Daphnée Duplaix, and EP Sheila Ducksworth moderated by CBS Mornings’ Vladimir Duthiers.

* The Price Is Right will air its 10,00th episode on February 26.
* Kelly Ripa and Mark Conseuelos, the married headliners of Live with Kelly and Mark, revealed at the top of Wednesday’s airshow that they had to put down their elderly white and brown Shih Tzu, Chewie.
Consuelos shared with the studio audience that, “Chewie had stopped eating for a couple of days and had been eating less and less for the past few weeks. She was extremely dehydrated and had some neurological stuff going down…It’s probably one of the toughest things we’ve had to do as a married couple.”
* Denise Richards (ex-Shauna Fulton, The Bold and the Beautiful) is taking another stab at reality TV stardom. Her new, raucous ‘docuseries’ Denise Richards and Her Wild Things is set to premiere Tuesday, March 4 on Bravo with back-to-back episodes. Another double bill will air on Tuesday, March 11 before single, half-hour episodes become the norm the following week.
