When last we saw Matthew Atkinson’s Thomas Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, it was March and he was poutingly packed and ready to flit off to Paris with his son after Hope (Annika Noelle) turned down his second proposal. To the fans who’ve nervously awaited word as to whether or not the actor’s tenure was officially wrapped, here’s a spot of good news!

Per Soap Hub, Atkinson will be back on screen by mid-June. Viewers were first tipped to the inevitable when Atkinson took to his Instagram Stories (now since deleted) with a humorous post made in what appeared to be his old dressing room. (The image in question showed him gesturing to the TV behind him on which played a scene featuring Lawrence Saint-Victor [Carter Walton] alongside a caption playfully accusing his costar of stealing scenes.)
