RJ makes fun of Luna at the design studio for being a lovely mystery, saying, “I can’t wait to find out more about you.” She displays suffering. RJ continues by claiming he doesn’t know anything about her and making a pledge to keep anything she tells him private. Carter interjects to complain about the pricey lace that Eric and he ordered from Paris. According to RJ, the couture collection merits nothing less.

Carter’s Lace Complaint:

Carter comments to Luna about the man’s incredible talent. RJ praises Carter for his support and requests that he pay the lace invoice. As they head out to review the numbers, Luna’s phone starts to ring. Her mother is here. She shudders. In response to her mother’s complaint that she hadn’t returned her calls, Luna answers the phone and says, “I love you and I can tell when you’re avoiding me.” According to Luna, everything at Forrester has been going extremely well.

Luna, you can’t be there, says her mother angrily. Today is the deadline for this to finish. Luna describes that she paints working there as a negative experience. She raves about the atmosphere and stunning gowns at the location. There, you’ll never achieve anything. Luna objects, claiming that she has been collaborating with Eric Forrester and his grandson RJ.

Li’s Surprise Visit:

It’s only a matter of time before everything collapses, cautions her mother, “Baby, I’m just trying to protect you.” Luna claims she is content and in good health there. Her mother had no desire for her to be in Los Angeles, much less work for Forrester. Luna claims that it is a dream. Her mother cautions her that her nightmares will transform into dreams and reassures her that “Your Aunt Li will never allow it.”

Li walks into the main office and is shocked to see Finn. She arrived to speak with Ridge about Steffy and the kids and the length of their absence. She reasoned that since Finn had no luck, perhaps he might persuade her. She queries his presence. Li questions why, and Finn replies that he went to Hope because he was concerned.
