The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Ridge Let Eric Think He Was The Champ

Today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 2, 2023, has Ridge lying to Eric for his own sake and Steffy giving Finn a big surprise.

Eric Won…But He Didn’t

Katie (Heather Tom)kicked off her heels and went over the day with Luna (Lisa Yamada) and some champagne. They couldn’t even imagine how people decided between Eric’s (John McCook) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) beautiful gowns. They also acknowledged RJ’s (Joshua Hoffman) angst over carrying around Eric’s secret, which he wasn’t carrying around anymore.

Over in his office, Eric remained as anxious as ever to know the results of the fashion showdown, so Ridge finally told his dad that Eric Forrester was the champion. Of course, Ridge was lying but he needed his father to feel victory. Eric was dying and he deserved the thrill of this win. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and RJ were shocked when he said it.

Of course, Eric reveled in the results and truly believed he was still the best. He congratulated RJ on a job well done, but RJ told him it was his moment alone.  Donna (Jennifer Gareis) was also thrilled. She loved Eric with all her heart and needed him to feel this happiness.

Eric wanted to put all the tension between him and Ridge aside. He thought Ridge’s designs were absolutely sublime, but he had to participate in this challenge to prove he wasn’t some old stapler that could just be discarded.

Steffy Is Finally Home

Finn (Tanner Novlan) was busy working at home in a messy house when his children soon appeared. He was clearly not expecting them, but Kelly and Hayes ran into his arms. He couldn’t even believe his eyes, especially when Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) walked in with a big smile. Kelly even learned how to speak Italian when they were away.

Finn told them the return was the best surprise he ever had, but he also wanted time alone with Steffy. To that end, he got Li (Naomi Matsuda) to come get the kids and take them for ice cream. When the kids left the room, Steffy told Finn that she couldn’t stand being away from him anymore and just had to come home.

Steffy was tired of running and hiding. She was going to fight for her family and not let Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) frighten her anymore. She was back and never planned to leave her husband again. However, Finn had some news for her
