The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for October 31, 2023, promise a day of sadness and suspense for the Forrester clan as RJ breaks down with his mom and Carter readies to reveal an answer to to a big question.
RJ Can’t Keep Eric’s Secret Anymore
Poor RJ (Joshua Hoffman) has been trying to keep his grandfather’s various health secrets for weeks. It was easier to do when he first thought Eric (John McCook) was only suffering from arthritis. Knowing he is dying and only has months to live is a whole different story. He wanted to tell Brooke and Ridge before the fashion showdown, but Eric swore him to secrecy. Now, he can’t take it anymore.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is stunned and saddened by what RJ has to tell her. How could this be? Eric still seems so vibrant. And, he was her first husband and father of two of her children. She never imagined she would lose him so soon. Brooke needs to comfort her son, but who will comfort her as she tries to keep a straight face in front of Ridge?
Are Eric And Ridge Ready For A Win?
As Brooke consoles RJ and processes her own shock, Eric and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) brace themselves when Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) reveals he knows the winner of the fashion showdown. They tried to keep the contest as unbiased and fair as possible with the guests not knowing who designed each gown. Now, it’s time to see who the guests chose as the top designer.
For Ridge, he would be proving something to his father, but it means even more than that for Eric. He knows he doesn’t have long left on this Earth and wants to go out with a bang. This design challenge was part of that bang. He presented his grand finale, as he’s been calling it, and now he will know if it was everything he hoped it would be.
Donna (Jennifer Gareis) is there by Eric’s side as she awaits the results, but Ridge might be in for quite a surprise before Carter can say a thing. Brooke has something to tell him that can change everything forever. Will it change the outcome of the showdown?
