The rumor mill churned up a truth! After months of rife speculation, a rep from Days of our Lives has confirmed that AlexAnn Hopkins is set to join the cast as Joy Wesley.
AlexAnn Hopkins Coming To DAYS
Joy, Craig (Kevin Spirtas) and Nancy’s (Patrika Darbo) youngest, was sired in the hopes that her bone marrow would prove a match for leukemia-stricken Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). She was, natch. Joy, then played by Aisling Acuna, was last seen onscreen in September 2005.

Hopkins’ credits include guest spots in The Goldbergs, Chicago P.D., and Restless Juliettes, recurring roles in Sunset Records and Wicked Enigma, and parts in feature films like A Date to Die For and When the Starlight Ends.
Per Soap Opera Digest, the young actress and Darbo will appear in Salem during the week of October 22nd.
