That’s a wrap for Xander’s (Paul Telfer) murder-minded mess of a mother. Serena Scott Thomas is officially out at Days of our Lives as of Monday, October 28.

In that episode, having escaped serious jail time by the skin of her teeth, Fiona decided to skip town rather than face the wrath of her beloved son — but before departing, she penned him a heartfelt letter in which she kinda, sorta apologized for running down his bride and booking it.

This marks the end of Scott Thomas’ tenure, which began (onscreen) on July 19, 2024. Of course, with Fiona avoiding the trappings of actually having to pay for her myriad of crimes (which also encompass framing Brady for the hit-and-run she committed and trying to outright murder Sarah when her villainy was recalled), the door is wide open for the actress to return at a later date.
