Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway, Days of our Lives; ex-Bethany Bryant, The Young and the Restless; ex-Amanda Dillon, All My Children) is making a move to the Land Down Under — into a house on Ramsey Street to be precise.

Chrishell Stause To Appear In Neighbours

The actress turned realator/reality show star and memoirist is returning to her soap roots via a guest stint in Neighbours, a daily drama concerning the residents of a fictitious suburb in Melbourne, canceled by its home channel in 2022 but resurrected by Amazon Freeve.

Stause is set to play Yasmine “Yas” Shields, “a glamorous and successful businesswoman in pursuit of an exciting new opportunity.” She’ll begin filming in Australia in July.

Said Stause via statement: “I am honored and excited to join such a beloved and iconic show! Coming from the world of soaps in the U.S., it’s back to my first love in the entertainment industry. They pitched me an idea for a character, and I was immediately excited to figure out a way to make it happen. Ramsay Street here I come!”

Added Jason Herbison, the executive producer of Neighbours: “We are thrilled to welcome Chrishell to the cast of Neighbours. We created a character especially for her and we can’t wait for her to bring the storyline alive. Expect intrigue and surprises — and many implications for the residents of Ramsay Street.”

Neighbours is currently competing for two Daytime Emmy Awards: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series and Outstanding Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series for Guy Pearce’s brief reprisal of Mike Young.
