Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for November 14, 2023, details Sloan having a baby land in her lap, Nicole panicking about her little boy, and Leo letting Dimitri go.

Sloan Agrees To Melinda’s Sick Plan

Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) was stunned when she opened her front door and found Dimitri (Peter Porte) standing there with a newborn in his arms. Despite the fact that they’d never met, Dimitri needed a lawyer so he figured Sloan would do. When Melinda (Tina Huang) and Sloan asked where the baby he was holding came from, he informed them the child belonged to his Uncle EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel).

They immediately knew this was Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) baby but they listened to Dimitri’s roadside birth tale and couldn’t believe their ears. Dimitri was frantic but Melinda suddenly tried to calm him and insisted things would be fine if he just handed them the baby.

Dimitri did just that, thinking he was doing the right thing, but he didn’t know Melinda Trask. As soon as Dimitri was gone, Sloan wanted to call the police, but Melinda had other ideas. She wanted Sloan to keep the baby and tell Eric this was the little boy they were going to adopt.

Melinda reasoned that this was a sign. Just as she needed a baby to present to Eric, his own son just appeared and was dropped into her arms. Who would even know? Melinda felt Dimitri was long gone and would never tell anyone what he did with Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) son.

She even concocted an entire plan to make Nicole believe her baby had died. Melinda would pay off a doctor to tell Nicole her baby didn’t survive and nobody would be the wiser. She would then keep Nicole’s baby safe before handing him over to Sloan and Nicole saying this newborn was theirs. Sloan was horrified by the crazy idea but went along with it anyway.

Nicole Realizes She Made A Massive Mistake

By her rock on the side of the road, Nicole explained to Eric everything that just happened. It finally hit Nicole that a known criminal on the run had her son and any number of things could go wrong. Eric was also alarmed to hear who had the baby so he tried to call Rafe (Galen Gering) but couldn’t get through.

Just then, EJ appeared and heard Eric talking about Nicole’s baby boy. He realized he had a son but when he heard what happened, he was as panicked as everyone else. He and Nicole both wanted to get to the hospital in the hopes of finding their baby but there was no sign of him when they got there.

At least Leo (Greg Rikaart) was confident that Nicole’s baby would be fine. Jada (Elia Cantu) found him in the park and hauled him down to the Salem PD for questioning. Rafe joined her so they could both interrogate Leo, demanding to know where Dimitri was. They’d even offer him a deal if he gave up his boyfriend.

When Leo finally told them what happened with Nicole, Rafe knew they had a big problem on their hands. At least Leo was impressed with himself for delivering an entire baby. In fact, it was the proudest moment of his life. When Leo got his one phone call, he reached Dimitri and told him to leave Salem without him.

Holly Put Tate In His Place

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) was still a nervous wreck about Nicole, but Tate (Jaime Martin Mann) was there to support her. EJ soon arrived home so Holly told him her location app may have found her mother. EJ chastised Holly for not heading straight to where her mother was and withholding this information, but Tate defended her.

He relayed that his Uncle Eric was searching for Nicole and asked them to stay put. As soon as EJ heard Eric was involved, he made a beeline for the door to find his new wife. Once alone, Holly told Tate how grateful she was for his support.

They even had a moment where they almost kissed, but when he mentioned the possibility of a kiss to Holly, she was incredulous. How could he think about kissing her when her very pregnant mother was missing? Holly had a good point.
