When Connie (Julie Dove) told Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) all about Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) affair with Ava (Tamara Braun), she expected tears, self-recrimination, and lots of yelling. What she didn’t expect was to see Gabi up and about and in a good mood.

Though thoroughly irked, Connie manages to put on a friendly front and inquire as to what has her boss so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed — and all the while she grips a letter opener behind her back and seriously considers whipping that smile off Gabi’s face with a bloody flourish!

Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) continues living in blissful ignorance, sure as he is that “Abigail’s” (AnnaLynne McCord) memories will soon come flooding back and that they’ll reunite with the children, and the in-laws, and everything will be sunshine and roses.

Finally, Days of our Lives spoilers have Melinda (Tina Huang) remaining hopeful that she’ll soon be rescued from Connie’s maniacal clutches — hopefully before she starts turning to cardboard Li for a listening ear. (Though, to be frank, he’d probably be a better alternative to Melinda’s other “friends.”)
