This week is all about high stakes, as a familiar face returns to wreak havoc, a much-anticipated wedding goes sideways in the most explosive way, and a certain fashionista continues her relentless pursuit of power. Trust me, you won’t want to miss a single second!
Sami Brady DiMera is BACK, and She’s Bringing the Storm!
Let’s kick things off with the one, the only, Sami Brady DiMera (the incomparable Alison Sweeney). Oh, how we’ve missed her! Sami is back in Salem, and she’s not just dropping by for coffee. No, no, no. Our favorite firecracker is here for her daughter, Allie Horton, and more specifically, Allie’s baby. And if you know Sami, you know she doesn’t just ‘ask’ for what she wants; she DEMANDS it, manipulates for it, and will run over anyone in her path to get it.
This week, expect Sami to be in full force, battling it out for custody of Allie’s unborn child. Who’s in her crosshairs? Probably everyone, but especially Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker). The rivalry between Sami and Nicole is legendary, spanning decades, divorces, and even an attempt on Nicole’s life back in the day! Sami seeing Nicole with Eric, happy and settled, while her own daughter is in crisis? That’s gasoline on an already raging fire. Sami will stop at nothing, and I predict she’ll be turning to her usual playbook of blackmail and emotional manipulation. Will she try to get Allie to sign over custody to her? Will she pull Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) into her schemes? Knowing Sami, it’s not just a possibility; it’s a guarantee! And watch out, because when Sami gets going, everyone gets burned!
Cin’s Wedding: A Vow of Love, a Blast of Terror!
Next up, it’s the moment we’ve all been dreading and yet can’t look away from: the wedding of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). “Cin” fans, prepare yourselves, because the vows are barely out of their mouths before chaos erupts. We’ve seen the teasers, we’ve heard the whispers, and yes, it’s true: this wedding is going to be explosive, literally!
The mastermind behind this horrific attack? None other than the vengeful Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). Oh, Eve! Her hatred for Ben runs deeper than the Salem River, fueled by the tragic death of her daughter, Paige. Eve blames Ben, the former Necktie Killer, for Paige’s demise, and she’s sworn to make him pay. And what better way to torture him than to destroy the happiest day of his life with Ciara, the woman who truly saved him? Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s Relentless Ascent to Power!
Meanwhile, over at DiMera Enterprises, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is still absolutely seething, and she’s not giving up on reclaiming her rightful place at the top. This woman is a force of nature, and her determination is unmatched. Still reeling from the revelation that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) isn’t Stefan, but rather his identical twin, Gabi is not about to let a little thing like reality stand in her way. She wants DiMera Enterprises back, and she wants Jake.
This week, expect Gabi to continue her machinations to undermine Jake and his new flame, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Gabi always plays dirty, and her schemes are usually quite elaborate. Will she try to seduce Jake? Will she find a weakness in Gwen and exploit it? Or will she dig up some dirt on the DiMera board members to swing things in her favor? Whatever her plan, it will involve manipulation, high-stakes gambles, and a whole lot of dramatic confrontations. Gabi’s been down before, but she always rises, usually with a new, even more outrageous plan. My prediction? Someone is going to get played, and it won’t be Gabi!
