SAG Remembers Those We Lost
In addition to the likes of Frances Sternhagen (herself an alumna of several sudsers), David McCallum and Chita Rivera (who had guest roles on As the World Turns and One Life to Live, respectfully), the In-Memoriam segment included farewells to, Bill Hayes (Doug Williams, Days of our Lives), Ellen Holly (Carla Grey, One Life to Live), Nicolas Coster (Lionel Lockridge, Santa Barbara; et al), Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine, General Hospital; Stefan DiMera, DAYS), Billy Miller (Billy Abbott, The Young and the Restless; Drew Cain, General Hospital; et al.), Arlene Sorkin (Calliope Jones, DAYS), and Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio Vega, OLTL).
Though the heartfelt endeavor should rightfully be praised, Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie Spencer, R.N., General Hospital), Elizabeth Hubbard (Althea Davis, M.D., The Doctors; Lucinda Walsh, As the World Turns; et al.), and Andrea Evans (Tina Lord Roberts, One Life to Live; Rebecca Hotchkiss Crane, Passions; et al.) were conspicuous by their exclusion.
