Five months after making her triumphant, 25-years in the making return to General Hospital, on a short-term contract, actress Rena Sofer is now one of the many recurring on the ABC sudser.

The company she’ll be keeping is made up of a fine lot. James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine), Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe), Jon Lindstrom (Dr. Kevin Collins), Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), Lydia Look (Selina Wu), Jeff Kober (Cyrus Renault), and Jacqueline Grace Lopez (Blaze) are but a few of the several dozen GH performers on recurring status.
As first reported by Soap Opera Network, there is no word yet on how long Sofer intends to remain among the gaggle, but she did previously explain to the Associated Press that the stint wasn’t viable long-term. “My husband and I are planning a move to the East Coast and, you know, I just thought, when I moved here, one of my first big jobs was ‘General Hospital,’ and it just felt very full circle for one of my last jobs in Los Angeles while I live here to be ‘General Hospital’ and doing this character that I love so much.”
