Here comes Granny! Ellen Travolta (Gloria Cerullo) is heading back to General Hospital this week, and fans can expect loads of resulting drama.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, who was the first to break the casting news, Rena Sofer (Lois Cerullo) gushed: “Lois’s return didn’t make sense to me if Ellen didn’t also come back from time to time. I love that she is such an important part of this story. And selfishly, Ellen is my adoptive mother — in my mind and heart — so any time spent with her is a gift to me.”
Travolta was last onscreen in May 2024 when granddaughter Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) wed Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
