Jason and Drew managed to work out how to raise the children today on General Hospital. They decided to move everyone into the Quartermaine mansion to keep the kids together. Sounds great, right? Will it truly work out? We have some doubts.

The General Hospital Single Dads Club

We have to hand it to Jason (Steve Burton). When pushed came to shove, he put his own feelings aside to do what’s best for Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). He went to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), worked it out, and everyone will live in the mansion as one big happy family. This was music to all the kid’s ears. We just can’t see it working out long-term.

While we have no doubt Jason and Dante will be civil and maybe even become friends, how will he deal with being in such close proximity to Drew (Cameron Mathison). These brothers can’t stand one another and there’s always a battle brewing between them. Keeping the peace will be all but impossible.

Bad Dads

The only saving grace is Drew is Washington bound and will at least be there the majority of the time. As happy as he is to leave Scout behind in the big house, how will he react if Jason starts helping raise his and Sam’s little girl. Will it cause some animosity? We can see it!

Let’s face it, these guys have trouble keeping their feelings about each other in check on a good day. There’ll never truly get along like brothers should and the last thing the kids need is to watch them fight it out every time Drew is home.

Is this living situation truly what’s best for the kids? Sure…but only if these men put on their big boy pants and coparent the right ways. The children deserve peace, the family deserves peace, and yes, they deserve peace too.
