Today’s General Hospital recap for December 7, 2023, details Dante’s news for Anna, Carly’s new WSB criminal friendship, Alexis’s warnings, and more.

A Morbid Morgue Meeting

Anna (Finola Hughes) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) met up in the morgue so they’d have a quiet place to talk. Dante had the final report on Anna’s house fire. There was no sign that Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) was there, but there was evidence that Jameson Forsythe was the culprit.

At this point, Anna was sure Forsythe had her under surveillance and saw her and Robert (Tristan Rogers) move her old storage trunk into the apartment. He wanted the file on him and may have gotten there before Charlotte because she was looking for something in the trunk she never found.

When the coroner found them in his ‘office,’ he informed them that Forsythe was gone because the WSB swooped in and claimed the body. At least the coroner was able to establish there were burn marks on the body that were about three or four months old. It timed with when Anna’s house burned down.

Carly’s New Buddy

Carly (Laura Wright) was surprised when her Australian friend popped back into Kelly’s, not knowing he was head of both the WSB and Pikeman. This time he wanted a BLT, not a burger, which made for some fascinating conversation.

They made some small talk about Port Charles before Carly asked how long he planned to stay in town. Brennan told her the visit was currently open-ended. When she asked him what kind of business he was in, he would only tell her he worked in the security industry.

When Robert and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) walked in, Brennan tried to hide his face because Robert would surely have recognized him. However, he listened in on Carly’s conversation with the pair.

Before Brennan left, he asked Carly if she wanted to have dinner with him. She informed him she was seeing someone else and he informed her that he wasn’t there for the food.

Alexis Needs To Be A Lawyer

Violet (Jophielle Love), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) spent time trying to pick out a tree at Rice Plaza where they ran into Robert and Diane, who were there for the same reason.

Gregory was rude to Diane, so Alexis took him to task for his behavior once they were alone. Alexis defended her friend. She might have been a shark in the courtroom but she was also fair. The family deserved representation and Diane would give it. Alexis also warned Gregory that Finn was probably going to lose.

Alexis also had to admit she enjoyed playing the Diane role as she and Marty (Michael E. Knight) prepared Finn to testify. She missed being a lawyer and it gave her a rush.

Hope For Curtis

Marshall (Robert Gossett) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) decorated the tree Trina (Tabyana Ali) picked out. Marshall even had the ornament Curtis’s mother made to mark their first Christmas together. When Portia (Brook Kerr) got home, she was thrilled that the tree was all decorated and she didn’t have to lift a finger.

When Marshall went to sit outside, Irene’s spirit arrived to keep him company. In his dream, he tearfully told Irene he never had schizophrenia.

Back in the house, Portia and Curtis enjoyed some hot chocolate before Portia broke some news. As a doctor, she knew of an experimental treatment that might help him walk again. She even submitted his name for the trial. One man who had the procedure was able to walk again within days. Christmas miracle, anyone?
