Today’s General Hospital recap for October 26, 2023, has Nina and Sonny bonding with their kids, Portia and Curtis afraid of Cyrus, and Sasha making a big decision.

Willow And Dante Love Their Parents

General Hospital – Willow and Nina

Michael (Chad Duell) continued to emotionally blackmail Nina (Cynthia Watros) when Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) arrived to see Michael. She could sense the tension in the air, so Michael put Nina on the spot. She said she only wanted to talk about returning to Sonny’s island and that’s exactly why Willow was there. She wanted to take both kids and have Sonny and Nina with them. Would two weeks from now work?

Nina proved she was going to do exactly as Michael ordered when she lied and said she would be out of town. Michael suggested they go sometime next year and then had Nina give Willow the gift she had for her since who knew when she’d see her daughter next? Once she had the gift in hand, Michael tried to get Willow to leave. He had to accept when his wife chose to stay and spend time with her mother.

Willow was touched by the gift and surprised when Nina told her she had one for Carly too. Sadly, Nina remained distant when all she wanted to do was embrace her daughter but Michael’s threats weighed heavily on her mind.

Nina decided to take this opportunity to apologize for all of her mistakes. She wished she could take them back but Willow was pragmatic. They could learn from their mistakes and move on. She assured Nina she wasn’t going to lose her.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) dropped by to see Sonny (Maurice Benard) and give him a wedding gift. Dante apologized for not being at the wedding, but Sonny understood. Sonny was happy that Michael could be his best man, but stressed that Dante was still his first choice.

The father and son went over their whole relationship and Dante admitted it was rough growing up without a dad. Sonny was sorry for that but Dante pointed out Sonny didn’t even know he existed. However, their relationship has grown over the years and Dante is grateful to have Sonny as his father.

Sonny and Nina ended the day by having a romantic dinner in her office.

Carly’s Still Taking Names

General Hospital – Carly and Josslyn

Carly (Laura Wright) was grateful that Joss covered for her at Kelly’s, but Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was outraged to learn that Drew (Cameron Mathison) was back in jail and put in solitary confinement for his own protection.

Michael was the next person to stop by just to have Josslyn tell him to use his connections to free Drew. Wasn’t that the point of learning who tipped off the SEC in their minds? They thought it would free Drew yet Michael is using the info to blackmail Nina.

Carly wasn’t even thinking about the SEC tip anymore as a way out for Drew. She’d moved onto Judge Kim and hoped Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) interview might help him commute Drew’s sentence. Michael seemed relieved he could still keep the Nina info to himself. His joy was short-lived when she announced she still wanted the informant’s name.

Sasha’s Sticking Around PC

General Hospital – Sasha

Cody (Josh Kelly) was shocked and thrilled when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) walked into the Q stables after she was supposed to have left for Texas. He thought she was there to say goodbye but she wanted to tell him that she was staying in Port Charles.

Sasha explained that seeing a photo of her and Brando (Johnny Wactor) made her want to stay. She left it in the apartment because she wanted the pain and suffering behind her but while in the car on the way to the airport, she realized Port Charles was a part of her life with both good and bad. She knew people cared about her in PC and Cody admitted he was at the top of the list.

Curtis And Portia Bond Over Cyrus

General Hospital – Curtis

Portia (Brook Kerr) arrived home to a cheerful Curtis (Donnell Turner) as his visit with Laura (Genie Francis) was just what he needed. Curtis was concerned when Portia poured a drink, so she told him that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had been released from prison. Curtis already knew but was surprised to hear that Cyrus paid a contrite visit to his wife while spouting bible verses.

Portia was completely freaked out and worried that Trina (Tabyana Ali) needed protection. She also wanted her to move back home from the dorm. She also wanted the doctor who testified on Cyrus’ behalf to have his license revoked. Watch out, Austin (Roger Howarth).
