General Hospital spoilers for for December 7, 2023, promise a fascinated Carly, a hopeful Curtis, an uncomfortable Alexis, and more.

Pikeman Problems

It’s apparently no coincidence that the suave new Australian in town keeps visiting Carly (Laura Wright) at Kelly’s. First, we know she has a thing for Australian men, and this one like the last one wants to keep his eyes on Sonny (Maurice Benard). What better way to do that than by befriending his busybody ex-wife?

Carly is intrigued when Brennan walks into the diner once again. Does he want one of those special hamburgers or does he want to get to know Carly better, seeing how altruistic she was the last time he was there?

Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) meet to talk more about Jameson Forsythe’s death. She is sure he was working with someone else. Perhaps she might want to get a bite to eat at Kelly’s.

Portia’s Big News

As a doctor and a wife, all Portia (Brook Kerr) has wanted is to find a way to fix what ails Curtis (Donnell Turner). In this case, what ails him is paralysis that he’s been told is permanent.

However, that might not be the case. Portia’s been doing her research and informs her husband there may be an experimental procedure that can help him. Curtis feels hope for the first time in months knowing there is a possibility he might walk again. Is Portia jumping the gun?

Close Encounters

Gregory (Gregory Harrison) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) take some time out from being intrepid reporters to pick out a Christmas tree with Violet (Jophielle Love). That’s where they run into Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), who is representing the family suing Finn (Michael Easton).

Needless to say, Gregory has no issue being rude to Diane while Alexis tries to avoid the situation altogether. Will Violet have to use her cute kid powers to make everyone happy?

Finally, Scott (Kin Shriner) and Lucy (Lynn Herring) spend some time reminiscing, with Lucy telling him that sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the people you love. Is she talking about Scott’s loved ones or her own?
