General Hospital spoilers for reveal two days of bittersweet memories as our favorite characters gather together to pay tribute to Bobbie Spencer during two very special episodes filled with flashbacks that will bring tears to our eyes.
A Town In Mourning
Losing Nurse Bobbie Spencer comes as a shock to the citizens of Port Charles as there was never any indication that Bobbie’s health was failing. Yes, she was diagnosed with diabetes a few years back, but she seemed to be managing it well. That’s why it came as such out-of-the-blue news to Carly (Laura Wright) when she learned that her mother had passed away in Amsterdam while taking care of her late brother Luke’s (Anthony Geary) affairs.
It was also a shock to the GH cast and crew, as well as fans, when actress Jacklyn Zeman passed away last May after a battle with cancer.
Looking Back At Bobbie’s Life
This week, Bobbie’s friends and loved ones gather at the GH chapel where there won’t be a dry eye in the house as people who knew and loved Bobbie the most pay tribute to the woman who helped make General Hospital what it was.
Expect flashbacks galore as the show takes us on a heartbreaking yet uplifting journey down memory lane. Laura (Genie Francis), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Carly, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), and others will remember what Bobbie gave them through the years. You can even expect an appearance by Ryan Carnes as Lucas. He hasn’t been seen since soon after the Wiley reveal in 2019, but of course, he will be there to remember his mother.
After Bobbie’s memorial, Felicia and Carly will embark on a new adventure to discover just what Bobbie experienced during her last days. But first, watch the sneak peek of Bobbie’s memorial below and then tune in on January 10 and 11 for two emotional hours remembering a beloved character and star.
