Nikolas showed up at Laura’s door and shocked the grieving grandma the other day on General Hospital. While she was thrilled to see her son and great-grandson, she took it as an opportunity to squash his life on the run. No more of that for Nikolas. She convinced him to check in at the PCPD and face the consequences of his actions.

The Best Of Intentions

What happens after that, though? Especially with baby Ace? The best bet is for him to stay with Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). They love the tiny tot, and Laura would do anything to keep Ace safe, happy, and content. Sound all fine and good, right? Well, until it isn’t.

Laura’s default setting is to always do the next right thing, and it could cost her in the end. Nik may regret coming home in the first place when this all goes down. He’s risking his mother’s life by leaving her to tend to his child, and if he winds up behind bars for his crimes, it will free Esme to play with fire. She’s never afraid to get burned, and she’s definitely not afraid to burn others.

Esme Fights Back

Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) will surely resurface one day (all we’re saying is we didn’t see a body…) and when she does, she’s going to want her son back. Nik (Adam Huss) may be tough enough to take her one but she’s already bested Kevin once and will not hesitate to take the couple down by any means necessary.

Esme is ruthless and she’ll be ready to rumble the second she sees her son. This poses a serious danger for Laura and puts a target squarely on her back. Just imagine the damage Esme will do if Laura balks at handing over the baby!
