EJ, with a smirk that could curdle milk, secured his advantage, leaving Gwen utterly outmaneuvered and unknowingly, completely screwed over. My prediction? This isn’t the last we’ll hear of this. Gwen will inevitably seek revenge, and it won’t be pretty!

But the most poignant scene of the day, the one that truly tugged at my veteran DOOL fan heartstrings, was the quiet, intimate conversation between Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and his sister, Lexie. Lying fragile in her hospital bed, Lexie looked at Theo with a mixture of confusion and yearning for connection. Theo, ever the gentle soul, sat patiently by her side, carefully filling her in on the tumultuous decades she’d missed.
It was a beautiful recap of Salem’s recent history through the eyes of someone who truly loves his sister. Theo spoke of Abe’s harrowing amnesia and his miraculous recovery, the beautiful love story of Abe and Paulina, and the joy they found together.
