NATAS, the governing and administrative body of the Daytime Emmys, Sports Emmys, Children & Family Emmys, Tech & Engineering Emmys, and News & Documentary Emmys, has announced its new board of directors. The board replaces its longstanding Board of Trustees
NATAS’ Board of Directors
The new board consists of Adam Sharp, who remains President and CEO of the organization, Terry O’Reilly, who remains in his position as Chairman, as well as Treasurer Theresa Maher Johnson, Secretary Julie Lucas, First Vice Chair David Burt and Second Vice-Chair Barbara Williams Perry.
The other named board members are Eva Basler (Vice President of Communications and Talent Relations for Bell-Phillip Television’s The Bold and the Beautiful), Phillip Bell, Bob Boden, Jared Bowen, Joan Cartan-Hansen, André Hepkins, Jeremy Hubbard, Martha Kattan, Ronit Larone, Michelle McHugh, Amy Schmelzer, Jeremiah Slovarp and David Solomon. All are poised to serve terms of one, two, or three years.
Plans are also afoot for NATAS to introduce a national membership model organized around peer groups, which will then elect future directors to full three-year terms.
