Laurence A. Caso, who helmed As the World Turns between 1988 and 1995 (the majority of the soap’s much acclaimed “renaissance period”) will be joining host Alan Locher in The Locher Room later this week.
Laurence A. Caso To Talk Shop
In addition to his tenure at the CBS sudser, made ever so memorable thanks to the toiling of the late, lamented head writer Douglas Marland, the prolific producer has spent his career developing a swath of comedic and dramatic series (WKRP in Cincinnati, Alice, Dallas, The White Shadow et al.), animated fare (Peanuts and Garfield), documentaries (The Body Human), variety programs (Johnny Carson et al.), awards shows, parades, silver screen features (Playing For Time), and mini-series (Guyana Tragedy).
Caso presently serves as the Executive Director of the Klein Memorial Auditorium Foundation after previously serving on their board of directors for 5 years.
Be sure to tune in to The Locher Room on Wednesday, April 12 at 3 p.m. EST / 12 p.m. PST to watch Laurence A. Caso’s interview and interact with host Alan Locher. If you’re lucky, your question/comment will be read aloud during the proceedings. To get a jump start, be sure to bookmark the stream below.
