The Young and the Restless’s Kyle Abbott has had quite a journey over the last year. He went from a happily married man with a child to an angry man with a girl on the side. Now, he is all alone, and he may deserve everything that’s happened to him.

Kyle’s Unforgiving

It didn’t matter to Kyle (Michael Mealor) that he knew Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was really alive and didn’t tell Summer (Allison Lanier). It only mattered to him that Summer also knew the truth about Phyllis and she didn’t tell him. While both were wrong for keeping secrets from one another, Summer felt remorse, apologized, and tried to make amends.

Kyle was not as forgiving and immediately hopped into bed with the first woman who paid him any attention at the GCAC bar. That woman happened to be Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), a young executive who would do just about anything to get ahead. For a while, it even felt like she would bed any man to get ahead. She found herself a rich young Abbott, but also had no trouble sleeping with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Audra’s Had Enough

It took a while, but Audra finally grew weary of Kyle and his immaturity. He couldn’t make up his mind what he wanted, who he wanted, and how he was going to get any of it. He was willing to take his own family down when he didn’t get the job he wanted, and then was willing to take Audra down with Tucker when he realized he couldn’t hurt the Abbotts or Jabot.

Now, Kyle doesn’t have Audra, he doesn’t have Summer, but he has a job at Jabot. Was it all worth it or will Kyle stew in his own mistakes?

What Should A Lonely Kyle Do Now?

Perhaps it’s time for Kyle to go it alone since he can never make a firm decision about anything. He unceremoniously dumped Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) for first love Summer, then unceremoniously dumped Summer because he needed to hold a grudge.

With Audra trying to go it on her own and Summer only having eyes for Chance, is it time for Kyle to have a reckoning? His behavior has been nothing but selfish this past year, just as it was when he ended his marriage to Lola. Does he deserve to be alone after all he has done or is it time for Summer and Kyle to reconcile? You tell us in the poll below.
