To a fan who not only agreed but christened the pair “Performer of the Week”, Braeden opined, “Performers of the damn year!!! It was very difficult to keep this up, scene after scene, and not hit a bad note! You don’t realize how many pages of dialogue that was!!!”

He added later, “I mean, considering how much they had to say in a short time, it was simply GREAT!!!”
The scenes garnering Braeden’s effusive praise were, of course, the ones that saw Jack hurl himself off the sobriety wagon in a misguided effort to bluff Nikki into quitting her drinking cold turkey.
