Today’s The Young and the Restless recap for October 27, 2023, details Adam and Sally’s reunion, Victor putting Nate to the test, and Nick and Victoria formulating their own plan.

Sally Couldn’t Resist Adam

Sally (Courtney Hope) lay down in her hotel suite and dreamed of Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman) fighting over her. Nick told her she had to choose between them but she couldn’t. Sally woke as confused as ever. She decided to keep her mind off things with work, but even that didn’t distract her enough as she flashed back to romantic moments between both her and Nick and her and Adam.

Adam spent his time meeting with a psychiatrist in the jazz lounge thinking he could help his father. The doctor couldn’t do much without seeing Victor and wondered if this could just be age-related memory issues. He wouldn’t make any diagnosis without meeting Victor (Eric Braeden).

After the doctor left, Adam was surprised to see Sally back at the bar. She did her best to avoid him and walked back upstairs to her suite, but Adam decided to go for broke and follow her. He caught her outside her room and asked why she ran away from him so soon. She made some excuses but was moved when she learned that Adam was meeting with a doctor to try and help Victor.

Sally surprisingly gave Adam a hug, which then led to a kiss, which then led to more kisses and the pair making love. Is this a new beginning for Sally and Adam?

Victor Tricks Nate

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor discussed the whole situation at the ranch and Victor revealed that he knew damn well that Nick would go straight to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) with his secret. Victor didn’t care if she understood or not. He had the next step in his plan to deal with so he had his staff send Nate in for a chat.

Victor feigned outrage at the idea that his kids thought he was “losing his marbles” and wanted to know what Victoria told him. Victor informed Nate he was going to tell them something in confidence and admitted that he thought his kids’ worries were justified. Of course, he was lying but Nate was none the wiser.

Nate was surprised to hear this, but assured Victor he could always come to him with any problem. Nate swore that he would keep this conversation to himself, meaning Victoria would not know anything about it. Nate seemed to only want to help and offered to find him a perfect specialist.

Victor warned Nate that Adam couldn’t know any of this because he felt it would be a disaster.

Nick And Victoria Plot

Victoria was horrified to hear that Victor had been faking dementia as a little game to see which kids were loyal and which of them were not. Nick admitted he was relieved that it was all an act despite his anger. Victoria’s horror turned to anger when she learned that Victor told Nick what was going on and not her.

To make Victoria feel better, Nick admitted that Victor left a doodle in his desk drawer that prompted him to confront their father. Victoria wasn’t appeased for too long when she learned her mother also knew what was going on. At least she understood that Victor put Nikki in an awful position. She was then shocked to hear that Victor may be on the right track looking for a Newman traitor.

Victoria assumed Adam had to be the threat, but Nick suggested it could be Nate. Victoria refused to even entertain such a thought but Nick wanted her to seriously consider it. So, Nick went back to the Adam idea and Victoria was happy. Nick managed to convince his sister to go along with Victor’s plan, hoping Adam would walk into a trap. They even brought Nikki in on their plan.
