The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tucker Is Up To His Old Tricks

The Young and the Restless spoilers for for January 18, 2024, promise another bad day for Kyle and a hopeful day for Nikki.

Will Kyle Ever Learn?

Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Tucker (Trevor St. John) are two men who now find themselves pretty much alone in the world. Kyle’s going through a divorce and his girlfriend just dumped him and it turns out that Tucker is going through the same thing. It was even the same girlfriend who dumped them both. (Did Ashley even know who Tucker was sleeping with on the side?)

That puts both Tucker and Kyle in very bad moves and Tucker decides he is going to make things worse as he antagonizes Kyle. The last time they saw one another, Kyle decked Tucker, so at least Tucker is just using words rather than physical violence. Still, it serves to get under Kyle’s skin, which is just what Tucker wanted.

Meanwhile, the girlfriend who got away from them both, Audra (Zuleyka Silver), takes steps to protect her own interests. Getting mixed up with Tucker might not have been the plum career move she thought it was and now she could get caught up in a horrible scandal.

Perhaps she just needs to focus on her job at Newman Media and get Tucker and Kyle out of her life for good. She might not have a bed buddy, but at least she will have a professional future, right?

Jack Is Just What Nikki Needs

Now that Jack (Peter Bergman) knows what’s really been going on with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), he is worried sick about her. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Lauren (Tracy E. Bregman) have vowed to do everything they can for Nikki so Jack is the one who is determined to step up and be the non-family support that Nikki needs at the moment.

Lauren is alarmed that Nikki’s sponsor has been drinking, so Jack agrees to step in and help. To that end, Jack promises Nikki he will be there for her through this ordeal and help her stay on the wagon. Isn’t that what former spouses are for?
