The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 31, 2024, tease Michael is about to learn a hard lesson about crossing The Great Victor Newman!

The Young and the Restless Spoilers

When, oh when, will Michael (Christian LeBlanc) learn to leave Newman business to Victor (Eric Braeden)? Oh, sure his heart was in the right place when he stalked down to the dungeon to free his boss’s captive, but that was the wrong move, buddy! Victor had it handled (and handled well, we must say). All he needed was for everyone else to leave well enough alone and stay out of his secret lair.

But, of course, Michael didn’t. And, now he has to pay the price. No more Mr. Nice Guy for Victor! Not at all. He summons Michael and puts him squarely in his place. Whatever is coming the legal eagle’s way, he’s going to get off lucky all things considered. Victor can be unhinged but he would never hurt his lawyer friend, right? RIGHT?!

While Victor deals with his bestie’s betrayal, The Young and the Restless spoilers tease Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is trying to make things right for hers. She and Jack (Peter Bergman) have a talk and discuss the boundaries they must put into place between them.

Jack needs to think about his own life and marriage right now. While he’d love nothing more than to continue being Nikki’s knight in shining armor, now is simply not the time. Not if he wants to keep Diane (Susan Walters) as his wife.

Having a much easier day is Summer (Allison Lanier). Well, not “easy” per sea. She doesn’t exactly like Sally (Courtney Hope) but now that she’ll be Sally’s boss, she doesn’t want hard feelings harming the workplace. Instead, she calls for a truce. No more battles. No more animosity. Can’t they be friends? Sally’s going to love this!
