Mark Grossman has been absolutely chilling in his portrayal of Adam’s descent into darkness, a journey fueled by his childhood trauma and his never-ending war with his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Adam has a long, storied history of using media to exact revenge. Who can forget his time at P.T.I., where he gleefully published stories that tore apart Genoa City’s elite? He’s framed Victor, faked his own death multiple times, and been at the center of countless scandals. So, when spoilers say he’s publishing a “shocker,” my mind immediately goes to the current hot-button issue: the Vegas secrets involving Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Adam has been digging into this with a vengeance, desperate to discredit Billy and reclaim Chancellor Communications. If he exposes whatever happened in Vegas, it could destroy Chance’s career, shatter his relationship with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), and give Billy a taste of his own investigative medicine.
