The Young and the Restless spoilers for for January 3, 2024, promise Sharon trying to take control of her life and Daniel not knowing what to do with his.
Sharon’s Not Stupid
It’s not hard for Sharon (Sharon Case) to notice that the product of Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) affair with Phyllis (Michell Stafford) soon after their teenage daughter died is now eyeing Sharon’s current boyfriend. Sharon thought she had a good thing going with Chance (Conner Floyd), but every time she’s turned around of late, Summer (Allison Lanier) is there.
Knowing that Chance took Summer to the concert that Sharon couldn’t make gets Sharon thinking on Wednesday, so she takes matters into her own hands when she sees Summer. She questions the young woman about her feelings for Chance.
Will Summer come clean and admit she wants the former cop or will she play stupid when Sharon is anything but? Sharon doesn’t want to have to compete with anyone to keep a man at this point in her life, so she may have a few blunt words for Summer.
Daniel’s Big Dilemma
After kissing Heather (Vail Bloom) on New Year’s Eve when he was supposed to be on a video call with Lily (Christel Khalil), Daniel (Michael Graziadei) decides he has to set the record straight with Heather. It’s clear to the audience that Heather wants Daniel back, but is it clear to Daniel?
Will he tell Heather that the kiss has to stay between them and that it’s really and truly over, or will he succumb to old feelings?
Meanwhile, Danny (Michael Damian) offers his son some unsolicited advice about his love life, but is Danny the right person to talk to at the moment? He is once again romancing Christine (Lauralee Bell) and things seem to be going great, but he hasn’t told Chris about Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) kissing him — and how he responded to those kisses.
Perhaps Daniel and Danny should take some time to think about what they really want out of life because father and son seem awfully confused and Phyllis and Heather are ready to take advantage of that.
