The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 26th, 2024, tease love and sanity and family unity on the line.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers
Monday, August 26th
The Young and the Restless kicks off the week with Jack (Peter Bergman) taking the high road and extending Kyle (Michael Mealor) an olive branch — but will his efforts prove to be for naught? When last we checked, his mini-me was still bound and determined to cut the family company off at the knees.
Elsewhere, look for Nick (Joshua Morrow) to offer Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) some unsolicited advice — most likely of the “stay well and truly out of our daughter’s personal affairs” variety. If that is indeed the case, don’t expect ole Red to heed her ex.
At the same time, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) receives some disturbing news. Might it concern darling daughter Lucy (Lily Brooks O’ Briant) who’s turned into a little, liquor-swilling hellion as of late?
Tuesday, August 27th
What’s that strange sense that they’ve been here, done all this before? Oh yes! It’s a major case of déjà vu’ for Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick…but is it cause for serious concern?
Meanwhile, a despondent Sally (Courtney Hope) demands the truth from Adam (Mark Grossman). She knows that he’s hiding something from her, something big. Something about “that night” he spent with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). But will she be able to pry a confession out of him, or will Adam hold steadfast to his decision to keep his affair on the down low?
Wednesday, August 28th
Hump day starts with Chelsea seeking forgiveness from Billy (Jason Thompson). She knows she screwed up; BIG TIME. But she’s sorry. Really, really sorry. Could he, will he just chalk this up as yet another hurdle they’ll be able to hop? After all, he’s already forgiven her for far worse. Opposite, Adam readies himself to come clean to Sally.
Elsewhere, Jack and Diane (Susan Walters) worry about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) malignant influence over Kyle. The Mustache has brought the worst out in the son, and the couple ponders the very real possibility that he’s lost to them forever.
Thursday, August 29th
Speaking of Victor, he spends this episode plotting to widen the chasm between Kyle and his pops, secure in the knowledge that he’ll reap the benefits of the father and son declaring war on each other.
Further fueling the drama will be phantom Cameron (Linden Ashby) who encourages Sharon (Sharon Case) to tap into her darkest impulses — and given that she once torched the Newman Ranch while in the grip of a manic episode, her dark side is pretty dark.
Friday, August 30th
The week concludes with Nick confiding his concerns for Sharon to his Phyllis (who’ll just love that), Daniel and Heather (Vail Bloom) giving Lucy some tough love, and Claire (Hayley Erin) squaring off against Summer (Allison Lainer). She’s sick and tired of her cousin’s attitude towards her, towards Kyle, and just towards life in general. If anyone’s entitled to a chip on their shoulder, it’s Claire.
