Things may get a little nerdy on The Bold and the Beautiful at the end of this week and the beginning of next. Horror icon Sean Whalen is returning to Los Angeles to reprise his role as Carl.
Carl Returns!
Long-time fans will remember Carl as a hospital worker who appeared on and off in scenes with Ashley Jones’s Bridget back in 2007 – 2011. His geeky ways made him memorable, to say the least.
He shows up on April 5th…which just so happens to be the day Deacon (Sean Kanan) accompanies Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) body to the crematorium. Does Carl know something about the baddie that no one else knows?
Unfortunately, Carl’s stay doesn’t last long. He checks out again on April 9th. Is there a reason he has to vamoose? Hmm…that does give us something to chew on for the next few days.
Fans of Whalen will remember him from the cult classic The People Under the Stairs where he played the legendary role of Roach. Other horror films include Dark Tales, Death House, and Suicide Kings. More fun roles have included parts on Never Been Kissed, Twister, and the hit TV show Superstore.
Aside from his role as Carl on B&B, he’s had guest appearances on Days of our Lives as Ted, and lent his talents to The Young and the Restless as a motel clerk.
