News broke this week that Ivy Forrester is coming back to The Bold and the Beautiful to be part of the family fold. While we’re stoked by the return, we have to wonder…why? And, why now? Could it be she’s bringing someone special home to meet everyone?
Ivy Drops A Bomb
Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) left the county and went back to Australia in 2018 and no one has talked much about her since. Has she kept a low profile for a reason? Wouldn’t it be fun if she came home with a special delivery in tow?
Just imagine the dropped jaws when Ivy walks through the door with a small child in tow. One that’s about 5 years old and ready to start kindergarten in the new year. A little boy with blonde hair, blue eyes, and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) classic features.
Surprise! You’re A Dad!
Wouldn’t this throw Liam for a loop? He’s currently obsessing over Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and trying to break up her marriage. A new child would definitely distract him from that mission. Perhaps, this is the exact distraction he needs to get himself together.
Poor Liam would be shocked by the news. How? When? And, why didn’t she say something?! Why did she spend all these years in silence, hiding the fact he has a son?
Ivy will explain it all away as she got pregnant during their last tryst and ran home because she knew that he didn’t, and couldn’t, love her. She didn’t want to raise a baby on two continents or have to move back and watch him woo other women. So, she did what was best for her, which was to raise her son alone.
Ivy will then explain her reason for coming. Her little boy wants and needs a dad. He’s not a baby anymore and this growing kiddo needs a solid male influence in his life so she’s decided to finally come clean.
Of course, Liam will want a DNA test. And, once that’s done, we’re sure he’ll do the right thing and step up. Liam may be a lot of things, but a bad dad isn’t one of them. Ivy will live to regret not telling him, though. He’ll make sure of it.
