Darin Brooks may be finished at The Bold and the Beautiful, for now anyway, but that doesn’t mean that the actor intends to idle. In fact, he may be back in front of a camera sooner rather than later.
Darin Brooks Attached To Series Reboot
According to reliable sources, a sequel to the adult comedy series Blue Mountain State is being shopped to interested networks, and Brooks is among the original cast members attached to the show.
At the time of its debut, back in January 2010, a synopsis described the series thusly: “It’s all about football at Blue Mountain State University, but being an incoming freshman on the national championship team consists of much more than that… there’s also girls, partying, hazing and of course, class.”
Brooks, who played Alex (“a talented quarterback, content to ride the bench while partying with his best friend”), starred alongside the likes of Sam Jones III, Chris Romano, future B&B co-star Denise Richards (ex-Shuna Fulton), and Alan Ritchson, currently of Reacher fame.
As reported by Deadline, the series would likely land at either streaming giant Amazon Prime, which hosts Ritchson’s actioner, or Netflix, where BMS gained a substantial following in the years since its cancellation.
