The Bold and the Beautiful recap for January 15-19, 2024, details Thomas’s confession, Eric’s homecoming, and Bill’s love life.
Honest Thomas Says His Peace
To prove he really is a changed man who wants openness and honesty in a relationship, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) detailed for Hope (Annika Noelle) what really took place the night Emma (Nia Sioux) died. Yes, Liam told her all about it way back in 2019, but we all had to pretend we were brand-new and that never happened as Hope listened in shock.
She told Thomas she needed time to process what she just learned but assured him that she believed he didn’t kill Emma and that she knew he had changed and wasn’t the same man he was five years ago. Thomas left and confessed to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that he thought he might have blown it with Hope.
Hope wasn’t alone at home for long before Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) stopped by. She didn’t tell her mother everything Thomas said and only mentioned she was dealing with a revelation from his past. Brooke wanted to know when Hope would admit that it was time to end things, but Hope refused to do any such thing and asked Brooke to accept her being with Thomas.
Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) did her best to convince Finn (Tanner Novlan) to leave well enough alone and just believe that her brother had changed. After all, he hasn’t shown him any reason to believe otherwise.
Good News For Eric
When Finn wasn’t ruminating about Thomas, he was giving good news to Eric (John McCook) and the rest of the Forrester clan. Eric was well enough to go home so that’s exactly what he did. Brooke and Ridge were there to welcome the Forrester patriarch when he returned to his famous living room.
Eventually, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Zende (Delon De Metz) arrived for a happy reunion, but the most tender moments came with Eric and Ridge shared some time together and discussed Eric’s whole ordeal. Eric was happy with Ridge’s good decision-making that kept him alive.
Bill’s Big Week
As Bill (Don Diamont) mentally prepared for another date with Poppy (Romy Park), he got some bad news first. Wyatt (Darin Brooks) was leaving town but at least he found a renter for Bill’s beach house. Wyatt was ready to spread his wings and see what life outside LA had to offer.
When Bill finally made it to his date he had a wonderful time with Poppy, intriguing both Deacon and Sheila. He later took Poppy back to what he thought was an empty beach house only to find RJ and Luna there for a night of romance. It turned out Wyatt rented the place out to RJ.
