Today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 30, 2023, details Eric’s wishes and his family’s heartache.
Eric Gets A Fashion Show
Donna (Jennifer Gareis) begged Eric (John McCook) to listen to the doctor, have more tests done, and take things easier, but he still refused. When Katie (Heather Tom) entered Eric’s office and heard the word hospital, she was alarmed, but Eric assured her he wasn’t going.
He may have been on a fast track for death, but he wasn’t going to throw in the towel and live his last days in a hospital bed. He planned to continue creating for as long as he could. He was not going to fade away and be forgotten.
Donna made sense when she told Eric running a few tests could prolong his life and perhaps this didn’t have to be his last collection. No matter what they said, Eric refused to give in. So, they gave up and made their way to the salon so Donna could model a stunning purple gown.
That is exactly what they did, making Eric a very happy man, indeed. They ended the little fashion show with a kiss, but soon a coughing fit came on. As soon as Eric recovered, he came up with a new idea to make his last days the best possible.
Steffy Takes Charge
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) told Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), RJ (Joshua Hoffman), and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he couldn’t keep pretending that he didn’t know Eric was dying. Steffy insisted they had no choice but to let this all play out Eric’s way. Ridge knew it would be hard but once again agreed. RJ vowed to be Eric’s right-hand man for as long as he needed him, making Ridge a proud dad.
Steffy remained determined that Eric would not feel pity. It was the last thing he needed and no matter how hurt they were, honoring Eric’s wishes was the most important thing, not their feelings. She wanted an open and honest conversation, but Eric didn’t want that. He wanted to design and they were going to allow him to do that.
Steffy only worried that Eric wouldn’t live long enough to see his latest collection on the runway.
