Bill Hayes (Doug Williams) passed away on January 12th this year and his death hit all Days of our Lives fans and the cast and crew hard. The show is gearing up to tape Doug’s funeral and huge stars will be making their way back to Salem for the emotional farewell.

Paying Tribute To Doug Williams

In the past few weeks, we’ve brought you news that Stephen Schnetzer, Gloria Loring, and Melissa Reeves will be coming home to Salem. Now, we have word of more former cast members arriving in the next few months.

According to Soap Hub Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux), Maree Cheatham (Marie Horton), Martha Madison (Belle Black), Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady), Sal Stowers (Lani Grant), Lamon Archey (Eli Grant), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton), and Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady) are all confirmed to make their way home.

While there are no details yet on the date the show will be laying Doug to rest, we do know it will air in December. We will update fans as more details emerge.
