While some of her costars rang in the first of the month by getting one over on fans and soap journalists alike, Days of our Lives star Jackée Harry spent her April Fools’ Day celebrating the three decades since the debut of beloved sitcom Sister, Sister on which she starred.
Sister, Sister Turns 30
“It’s been 30 years since our little show premiered,” cheered Harry on Instagram. “The imprint on our culture is undeniable. None of us could have predicted this longevity or success, but it should come as no surprise. When you put love, friendship, identity, and heritage at the core of your work – it turns into a beautiful something that everyone can relate to.”

Sister, Sister followed Tia Landry (Tia Mowry) Tamera Campbell (Tamera Mowry) “twins who were separated at birth and by chance meet each other in a shopping mall. Ray Campbell (Tim Reid), Tamera’s adopted father, is very different from Tia’s adopted mother, Lisa Landry (Harry), but the twins don’t want to be separated so Ray and Lisa end up living together. The series often focuses on the trouble the twins get into due to their identical appearance and the love-hate relationship between Lisa and Ray.”
The series aired from April 1, 1994, to May 23, 1999, first on ABC (for its initial two seasons) and then The CW (for its remaining four).
