This week’s Days of our Lives recap for February 19 – 23, 2024, featured serious complications of the medical, legal, and emotional kind.
Monday, February 19
Jada (Elia Cantu) called out Everett (Blake Berris), but he denied being Bobby. Stephanie (Abigail Klein) began to question her and Everett’s entire relationship. Had she unwittingly been “the other woman”?!
Konstantin (John Kapelos) confided stories of his late daughter, Katerina, to Maggie (Suzanne Rogers)…. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) learned that Tripp (Lucas Adams) hadn’t shown up for his shift.
Chanel (Raven Bownes), Johnny (Carson Boatman), Paulina (Jackée Harry), and Abe (James Carver) celebrated the wedding and the surgery going well. That is until Paulina began having complications and wound up suffering a massive heart attack!
Tuesday, February 20
A drunk Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) griped about playing mommy until Melinda (Tina Huang) reminded her of the lengths they went to secure baby Jude. Busybody Connie (Julie Dove) blasted Melinda for her treatment of Li Shin.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) confided his concerns about Tate (Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) leaned on Marlena, while Theresa (Emily O’Brien) ran straight to Brady.) to Marlena (Deidre Hall). Following a serious dustup, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) leaned on Marlena, while Theresa ran straight to Brady.
Roman (Josh Taylor) arranged an ultra-romantic evening for him and Kate (Lauren Koslow)…. Ava (Tamara Braun) cried to – and flirted with – Stefan (Brandon Barash) — until she received word that Tripp was nowhere to be found.
Wednesday, February 21
Maggie joined Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in sifting through what remained of the Horton house. They were soon met by faux firefighter Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and later joined by Marlena, John (Drake Hogestyn), Kate, Roman, Chad (Billy Flynn), Thomas (Cary Christopher) — and Leo (Greg Rikaart).
The group took several walks down Memory Lane as they reminisced about all the good times and bad…. Back-to-back-to-back miracles occur. First, Tom and Alice’s armchair is found unspoiled. Then the Christmas ornaments are found, each and every one is pristine tradition. Finally, much to everyone’s surprise, a time capsule hidden away by Alice is discovered.
Leo got the lowdown on Horton family lore and produced a most moving piece for The Spectator…. In addition, the history of Tom and Alice moving into the famed home was played out.
Thursday, February 22
Brady and Theresa’s visit with an aggressive Tate ended before it truly began…. Thanks to Steve’s digging, Stephanie realized that she was “the other woman” once upon a time. She and Jada both confronted Bobby/Everett. The man denied the facts presented to him. Bobby/Everett collapsed into a heap forcing Stephanie to render aid.
Ava made a beeline for the police station where she sold Rafe (Galen Gering) a bag of goods. Later, she summoned Steve and told him EVERYTHING…. Tripp and Wendy (Victoria Grace) bemoaned the trap that Officer Goldman (Christy St. John) led them to.
Friday, February 23
Clyde (James Read) called Stefan to the prison and ordered him to finish what he started the night he pumped Harris full of bullets! Over at the hospital, Ava begged and pleaded to see Harris and was eventually let in the room. He came around during her emotional declaration of love.
Xander (Paul Telfer) continued to profess his innocence despite the evidence against him. Justin (Wally Kurth) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) were on hand and on his side. Konstantin vowed to revenge himself against John and Steve.
