Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for November 27, 2023, details Nicole’s unwavering insistence that Eric and Sloan had her baby.
Nicole Insists Eric Has Her Baby
Eric (Greg Vaughan) reluctantly allowed Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to hold the baby and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) just ‘adopted’. When she looked at his face, she immediately knew that this was her baby. Eric insisted that wasn’t her baby. It was his and she was overly emotional after losing her own baby.
Nicole didn’t care what Eric said. Nicole knew her own baby and knew she was holding him. When EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) emerged from the Pub, Nicole told EJ this was their baby. He also thought Nicole was imagining things due to her grief-stricken state, but Nicole was insistent. It took a bit but Nicole finally relented and gave the baby back to Eric.
Eric was shaken up after his encounter with Nicole, but she was even more of an emotional mess and couldn’t stop talking about the baby when EJ got her home. Eric’s baby had her baby’s face and eyes. It didn’t make any sense. The more she thought about it, the more she was sure Eric and Sloan had her baby.
When Eric brought the baby home, he told Nicole about his encounter with Nicole. Needless to say, Sloan was alarmed.
Sloan Is Caught
Sloan was shocked to find Dimitri (Peter Porte) at her door, angry that she hadn’t helped free Leo (Greg Rikaart) yet. He heard that Leo was being charged with murder and needed her to do something about it. He also heard that Nicole’s baby had died and accused Sloan of killing him.
Sloan claimed she took the baby to the hospital herself, but it was too late by the time she got there. Dimitri didn’t believe her, especially after seeing all the baby goods in her apartment. She claimed it was all for her baby but Dimitri realized that Sloan had taken the baby.
Sloan laughed off the accusation and pointed out it was possible for two babies to be born on the same day, but Dimitri didn’t buy it. Sloan finally gave in and confessed the truth to Dimitri. He didn’t seem to care what she did as long as she got Leo out of jail — and handed him some cash.
Meanwhile, Jada (Elia Cantu) had a proposition for Leo. If he gave up Dimitri, then Leo could go free. Of course, Leo balked at the offer at first. Dimitri was the love of his life and he couldn’t bring himself to do it. But Jada made jail sound Leo’s prospects sound dire, so it was something he had to consider. In the end, he chose to stay loyal to his boyfriend.
Ava And Stefan Plot
As Harris (Steve Burton) still wondered what happened to his work keys, Ava (Tamara Braun) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) came up with a plan to get into the Salem PD evidence room at Clyde’s (James Read) behest. Stefan figured they should flip a coin to see who performs the actual break-in.
Then next thing we knew Ava stopped by the police station to bring Harris some Thanksgiving dinner — and distract him while Stefan broke into the evidence. Jada walked in while he was there so Stefan had to hide. Eventually, he found what he was looking for.
Ava also got some good news. Harris informed her that EJ wasn’t going to press charges and Gil’s death was deemed self-defense.
