Having baby Jude placed back in her arms hits Nicole (Arianne Zucker) in all the ways you’d expect. She’s elated, overwhelmed, thrilled…and furious. She has spent months upon months mourning her baby. Not to mention that it wasn’t too long ago she told everyone this was her tot only to have every single person in her life tell her she was wrong and chalk it up to being a heartbroken mother.
Now, Nicole wants an explanation. How did this happen? Why did this happen? How could someone do something so nefarious to her? Okay, sure, yes, she did to Sami (Alison Sweeney) once upon a time, but that was different! The truth is coming out and it’s going to feel like a knife to the heart. (Not the whole truth, though…EJ is claiming that baby come hell or high waters).
Great news comes Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) way when Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) announces her and Xander’s (Paul Telfer) engagement. Oh, happy day! Her daughter and her guy getting hitched?! This is all music to Maggie’s ears. We’re sure she’ll dive right into wedding planning mode. She’ll want this wedding to be perfect.
Meanwhile, the hunt for Clyde (James Read) heats up. Harris (Steve Burton) and Ava (Tamara Braun) devise a plan to track him down and bring the monster back to Salem. Ava feels a personal responsibility towards this scheme seeing as how she had a hand in Clyde’s great escape.
As for her cohorts, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and John (Drake Hogestyn) get a helping hand from Rafe (Galen Gering). He makes the fellas a copy of Gil’s black book so they can pour over the pages and figure out all the codes. It’s all hands on deck right now and the clock is ticking. They have to capture Clyde before he does even more damage.
