Sleeping Beauty Awakens
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) peaceful slumber is interrupted by a voice emanating from the monitor perched on an end table — it’s Holly (Ashley Puzemis), she’s awake, and she wants her mommy!
Thrilled though they are by their daughter’s return to the waking world, the husband and wife have questions that they want immediate answers to. Well, make that question, and answer. Namely, who was it that gave her the drugs she overdosed on?
Homecoming Queen
Also up and about, but not at all out of the woods, is Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry). She’s in good enough spirits to welcome her beloved daughter Lani (Sal Stowers) and son-in-law Eli (Lamon Archey) home, but her declining health has her loved ones, Lani in particular, in near hysterics.
Man Of Mystery
Elsewhere, Chad (Billy Flynn) takes Everett (Blake Berris) — or is it Bobby Stein? — to task. How can he claim to love Stephanie (Abigail Klein)? “We don’t even know who you really are!!”
The Assassination Game
Finally, the sneak peek concludes with big, bad Clyde (James Read) ordering Stefan (Brandon Barash) to finish what he started the night he shot out Harris (Steve Burton) outside of the Bistro.
At first, Stefan’s at a loss. “He is under surveillance. How am I supposed to kill him,” he bellows down the phone. His (in)elegant solution? Don some surgical gear and impersonate a doctor…as if the staff won’t be able to tell that he is neither Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) nor Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) even Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), who appears to be the only three doctors employed at University Hospital.
