The Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, February 7, 2024, tease brothers going toe-to-toe, a white lie told, and much more.
Previously On DAYS: Paulina and Abe continued bonding…in bed, the beautiful moment was ruined by an upsetting call from her oncologist. Kristen and Alex agreed to keep in touch…and keep Brady and Theresa apart. Additionally, the SPD busted the drug ring, while Chad and Everett ran to Statesville for a tense conversation with Clyde. Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.
Brothers At Odds
Despite their status as siblings, Stefan (Brandon Barash) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) have never really cared much for one another. Case in point: EJ hasn’t done so much as lift a finger to get Stefan out from under Clyde Weston’s (James Read) thumb — this, despite the fact that Clyde is forcing Stefan to peddle the drugs that led to Holly Jonas’s overdose.
When Stefan tucked his tail between his legs and ran to EJ for assistance, EJ snickered. Now, look for EJ to flat-out giggle in Stefan’s face. He knows that Clyde’s operation is all but finished — what with all the successful drug busts carried out by the SPD — and he has no doubt that his little brother will soon be outed for the role he played in the operation. When that happens, it’s off to Statesville with Stefan. And that tickles EJ.
Storyteller
A rattled John (Drake Hogestyn) makes his way back to his abode, all the while wondering exactly what went down between him and Konstantin (John Kapelos). One minute John was holding the no-goodnik at gunpoint, and the next Konstantin was nowhere to be found. What could have possibly gone down during those missing minutes?
When Marlena (Deidre Hall) questions John’s state, he’ll cover. Not beautifully, but good enough for Marlena to accept his explanation at face value…for now.
Speaking of secrets being kept, Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) meet under the cover of darkness and without alerting anyone beforehand. But what do these exes have to say to one another? Is there more to this rendezvous than meets the eye?
Mother/Daughter Bonding
Though it’s taken her some time to do so, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has finally begun to open up to her family about her past relationship with Evan (Blake Berris). Now that the two are seeing one another again — but not defining it as dating; that’s too big a step — Stephanie has yet more to share. Luckily Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is a great listener.
Family Ties
Paulina (Jackée Harry) has been moved to the front of the line, so to speak, and she’s not exactly thrilled by the development. When her surgery date was weeks and weeks away, she was able to push thoughts of it, and her cancer diagnosis, to the back of her mind. But now that the date has been moved up, it’s all she can think about. And talk about. Understandable, agree Abe (James Reynolds), Chanel (Raven Bowens), and Johhny (Carson Boatman), who all lend Paulina an ear to bend and a shoulder to lean on.
Whose side are you on when it comes to the battle of the DiMera brothers? Is Stephanie making a mistake in welcoming Everett back into her life? Hit the comments and SOUND OFF.
