The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 17, 2024, tease Summer reaches a breaking point and those inner Phyllis genes rear their shady little head!

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and Summer (Allison Lanier) is about to prove it! She is sick and tired of Kyle (Michael Mealor) taking control of her time with Harrison (Redding Munsell) or his whole idea of moving to Paris. She’s not going to sit back and let him leave the country with the little boy. Not if she has any say!

She may not be Harrison’s biological mother but since Tara left town, she’s the only mother Harrison has. And, she’s going to fight for him. And, she’s not going to fight fair. She’s going full-on Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and pulling out one of her mother’s old tricks. Will it work? Does she have what it takes to be this dark and get her hands this dirty?

Speaking of leaving Genoa City, Heather (Vail Bloom) wants to do just that. She sits down with Daniel (Michael Graziadei) to talk about returning to Portugal to be with Paul. Her father is a very lonely man and it breaks her heart knowing he’s on his own. (Of course, bringing Paul back would be the ideal situation…but we’re not ready to talk about that just yet).

Also coming up on The Young and the Restless, Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) fight their lingering feelings for each other. They swore that slip-up was a one-time thing, but can they help themselves? Their connection is deep and the lust between them is sizzling hot.
