Today’s The Young and the Restless recap for November 30, 2023, details Ashley and Tucker’s falling out, as well as Billy’s suspicions about Kyle.
Ashley’s Heartache
Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Devon (Bryton James), and Abby (Melissa Ordway) sat down for breakfast at Society for a game of catch-up. Ashley was happy to be back home and getting along with Jack(Peter Bergman) and Dominic was doing great but Ashley also had something serious to talk about.
Devon immediately knew she wanted to talk about Tucker (Trevor St. John) and Ashley didn’t deny it. Devon headed her off at the pass and said he was not ready to forgive Tucker since he was a man who was incapable of change. Poor Ashley lamented that she thought she and Tucker had something real, but alas it was not meant to be.
Abby was shocked that her mother seemed as if she could forgive Tucker even after the things he said and did to her. Ashley suddenly flashed back to the fight she and Tucker had on their honeymoon and we got to see how cruel he was to her, screaming in her face and telling her he never loved her.
She was genuinely frightened by his behavior and clearly emotionally scarred. Ashley also felt part of the fight was her fault. Devon told her it wasn’t and insisted that Tucker was a narcissist who could never take the blame for anything he did wrong. Abby begged her mother to just turn her back on Tucker but she couldn’t do it.
Diane Plays Matchmaker
Diane (Susan Walters) helped Kyle (Michael Mealor) get ready for his first day as COO of Jabot. Jack was thrilled his son was joining the family company once again, but when he left, Diane had questions. Has he made any progress with Tucker yet?
Kyle thought he had Tucker right where he wanted him despite Tucker knowing exactly what he was up to. Tucker just thought he was a spy on the inside for Jack and not for Diane. Unfortunately, Diane worried that Tucker might be onto him, but Kyle wasn’t worried because he seemed to trust Audra (Zuleyka Silver).
Summer (Allison Lanier) soon walked into the living room to interrupt their conversation. They all made small talk until Diane suggested that Summer work with them all from home since some offices didn’t have electricity. Summer was all for it, but Kyle made an excuse to leave. Once alone, Diane asked Summer if she ever considered giving her marriage another try.
Tucker Strikes A Nerve In Billy
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Tucker ran into one another while getting coffee at Crimson Lights. Tucker wondered if Billy and Jack would ever release the damaging information they had against him, but Billy wouldn’t bite and give away his and Jack’s plans.
Tucker then tried to get in his head and told Billy that he might have already been sabotaging things at Jabot and the Abbotts didn’t even know. That gave Billy food for thought for when Jack showed up. He still didn’t trust Kyle’s total about-face and suspected something more was going on.
Billy relayed his meeting with Tucker to Billy. He was sure he had an attack plan in mind but Jack didn’t believe him. Billy trusted his instincts about Tucker but Jack didn’t. After all, Billy was a compulsive gambler who didn’t have good instincts. However, Billy refused to back down.
He was sure that Tucker had someone on the inside at Jabot and that someone could be Kyle. Jack absolutely refused to believe that.
