The Young and the Restless spoilers for for January 24, 2024, promise an emotional day for Nikki as the men in her life both comfort her — and doubt her.
Jack Steps Up For Nikki
After his conversation with Lauren (Tracy E. Bregman) about Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) drinking and his subsequent chat with Nikki about being her new support system, Jack (Peter Bergman) steps into the role on Wednesday. Nikki just had a tense conversation with Claire (Hayley Erin) so she feels the urge to drink, but needs to resist it.
Considering that her AA sponsor Seth (Brian Gaskill) fell off the wagon, Nikki needs Jack by her side. He is her ex-husband and one of her best friends and understands her more than most. However, Diane (Susan Walters) might not like seeing Jack and Nikki together. Will jealousy rear its ugly head? Nikki and Diane have never gotten along and we don’t think that’s about to start now.
Victor And His Other Daughter
While Nikki gets support from a former husband, her current husband is worried for her. The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) knows she is not doing well after the Oregon ordeal and now questions her decision-making skills. Does he worry about a choice she might make at the helm of Newman Media?
It was an unusual move to put Nikki in that role when she never ran a media company in her life, but that was Victor’s big plan. Now he wonders if that was a mistake. Audra (Zuleyka Silver) already knows Nikki is in trouble. Does she relay any of her concerns to Victor?
Victor might have to make another move soon to ensure Nikki’s sanity and the success of his company. It’s clear that Nikki needs some R&R.
And finally, Victor’s other daughter Abby (Melissa Ordway), the one barely even invited to family functions is ready to embark on a whole new endeavor. Her personal and professional lives seem to be going well, so what could Abby be planning now? Does it have anything to do with getting the goods on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) like the rest of the audience?
