Tracey E. Bregman has been a The Young and the Restless fan favorite since the beginning and still thrills audience members on screen as one of the mainstays of Genoa City society. Now, Bregman is celebrating an amazing Y&R milestone.
41 Years of Lauren Fenmore
Bregman took to Instagram on Monday to commemorate 41 years of bringing Lauren to life after the show gave the actress her own standalone episode to mark four decades in GC last January. Bregman posted a series of photos illustrating her CBS daytime life, including when she crossed over to The Bold and the Beautiful to be Eric Forrester’s love interest. Next to the photos, she wrote the following:
“Okay this is #41 today on @youngandrestlesscbs @cbstv I can’t believe how fast time has gone and yet, my heart is filled with all the times and memories of all the amazing storylines and amazing actors, producers, writers and crew I’ve had the honor of working with. Thank you and I’m so grateful don’t seem to do what I’m feeling justice. Here’s to the future!! #soaps #daytimetv #actress #love #happyplace #gratitude #thankyou.”
A Long Soap Opera Career For Bregman
Bregman began her daytime career as a teenager way back in 1978 when she landed the role of Donna Temple on Days of Our Lives. Donna was the teenage daughter of Don Craig and therefore the stepdaughter of Deidre Hall’s Marlena Evans. In 1983, she landed the role of Lauren and never looked back.
Recently, Lauren has been featured in more stories as she renewed her vows with Michael Baldwin on New Year’s Eve and is now Nikki’s confidante as Nikki tries to battle the bottle. Bregman also brought Lauren to B&B once again for several episodes in the fall of 2023.
