Despite the repeated warnings, and despite herself, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) just couldn’t help approaching Kelly. The end result? A knock-out, drag-out with the wee one’s Mama Bear. In an exclusive chat with Soaps.SheKnows, Sean Kanan previews the catfight’s conclusion and where the incident leaves him and his (let’s face it) psychotic paramour.
Sean Kanan In The Hot Seat
“Deacon and Finn come in for the aftermath of the Sheila/Steffy fight,” teases Kanan. “They don’t really know what went down, but their first priority is to separate these two women and keep them from killing one another!”
Will this latest burst of physical violence be enough to convince Deacon it’s time to throw in the towel where his lady love is concerned? Don’t count on it!
The way Kanan sees it: “Deacon really does believe that Sheila is working diligently to make a lot of personal changes. He’s not naive, but he’s not ready to just close the door on Sheila because of this fight.”
As in any relationship, boundaries are a must. Says Kanan, “[Deacon] will have [Sheila’s] back and help whenever possible, but he wouldn’t do anything to help ingratiate her with Hope, Brooke or the Forresters. He knows better than to even try. He’s not going to bring about absolute catastrophe where his already-strained relationship with Hope is concerned.” At least he’s getting something right!
