Today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 13, 2023, details Liam’s attempt to win Steffy back and Poppy’s attempt to make amends with Li.
Liam Seems Like a Stalker
Liam (Scott Clifton) insisted to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that they still loved one another despite her telling him that she was happy with her husband and planned to stay that way. He felt his ex was putting off the inevitable. She was going to have to protect herself and her children from Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and he wanted to be the one to help her.
Steffy didn’t quite know what to say when Liam insisted she leave Finn (Tanner Novlan) and return to him. They were great together, right? (When he wasn’t running off to Hope whenever Steffy upset him, of course.) After some thought, Steffy did her best to let Liam down easy.
He meant a lot to her, but Steffy didn’t want to be with him anymore. They made a beautiful child together, but their time as a couple was over. Steffy was not about to give up her marriage and insisted that she could handle Sheila on her own.
Liam didn’t really care what Steffy had to say because he never did. He wasn’t giving up and felt their story wasn’t done. When Finn returned home, Steffy didn’t bother telling him about Liam’s visit. Little did she know Liam was back in the office looking like he photoshopped his way into a photo with her and Kelly while vowing to win her back.
Finn Thinks Deacon’s a Fool
Finn summoned Deacon (Sean Kanan) to his office to tell him there was no way he was ever going to let Sheila into his life. Finn didn’t believe that Sheila suddenly changed. Deacon just wanted Finn to call Sheila “mom,” something Finn could only scoff at.
He wanted Sheila out of his life and couldn’t believe Deacon thought he was in love with his crazy bio mom. Deacon didn’t understand any of this. How could Finn not want to know the woman who gave birth to him? Finn had a good answer. He could not forget every heinous act that Sheila has committed even if Deacon could.
Luna’s Complicated Family
As Poor RJ (Joshua Hoffman) sat with Luna (Lisa Yamada) in Eric’s (John McCook) office, he couldn’t stop thinking about the fact that his grandfather was dying. He couldn’t understand why Eric was acting like everything was normal. Luna promised to be there for him.
The subject of Li and Poppy came up and RJ had no idea why Li thought she could order Luna and her mother around. He was also surprised to hear that Poppy (Romy Park) was in LA right at that moment.
Over in the design office, Li (Naomi Matsuda) ordered Poppy to tell Luna to quit her job. Poppy insisted that Luna wouldn’t cause any trouble but that didn’t matter to Li. She wasn’t about to take no for an answer. Poppy tried to defend her past and explain she didn’t know the chief surgeon she had an affair with was married.
Li took an affront to Poppy complicating her life knowing all that Li had been through over the last two years, including learning that Jack (Ted King) was Finn’s bio dad, nearly losing her son, and then nearly losing her life at Sheila’s hands.
Poppy was sorry for her sister’s pain but pointed out that if it wasn’t for Sheila, Li wouldn’t have Finn. When Poppy told her that she wanted to be there for her sister when things went haywire in 2022, Li said Poppy should have gotten the hint.
Finally, Li admitted she was jealous of Poppy because she could carry a child and Li could not. Poppy tried to comfort Li, but she pushed her away, still demanding that Luna quit her job.
